No, We Haven't Left Yet...

I'm just getting ultra excited because not only is our trip nearing, but today we took the day off to go to the ballgame to celebrate Moonlight Graham Day at the Dome. If you don't know who Moonlight Graham is, you'd better rent The Field Of Dreams and find out, cuz he was one cool cat. And we'll be going to The Field in a matter of days!

I'm also excited because tomorrow is my birthday, and my honey bear has got some interesting looking presents and a card waiting for me to open them!! YAY! I can't wait :) And if that weren't cool enough, The Ghoulies are playing the Triple Rock tomorrow night!!! So even though we were lazy sods and missed them the last time(s) they came around, we will get to see them ROCK HARD on my birthday!! Whoo-hoo!

One last thing, gotta throw out a BIG HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the Bell Family; we just learned yesterday that they are expecting their second child! And the baby just might have the same birthday as Schmoopie :) YAY!

Excitedly Waiting

I'm just hangin here at Wilson waiting for my honey buns to get offa work. Thought I'd check in and say that I am still excited for the trip and still frantically trying to get gifties done! John's been planning our itineraries for our stops in each city, looking for places with free wireless internet cuz we can't be without a computer these days (we're addicts!!) and places that we may be able to find cheap rooms along the highways. He's the man with the plan, and bless him for it cuz we'd be lost if left up to me!! ROCK HARD SCHMOOPIE!!

Prepping

Well, getting into the preparations for our road trip by first and foremost burning some cool driving music mixes. We leave next Saturday and we've already packed a little bit. John is completely packed. I, being the high-maintenence chick that I am, still need to consider a few more outfits and wait til next week to pack my "unmentionables". I don't skimp on the clothes. But then again I change up to four times a day at home, so I need my choices. We got our toiletries packed. We're bringing tons of electronic equipment and even some DVDs cuz we can watch them on the laptop, and ya'll know I can't live without my movies. Nothin says "getting away" like bringing the tv and internet with ya!!
