Ok, so the little black blob at the end of the photo with the Queen Mary in the background and the herons flapping their wings, that's the seal. And of course the day we see a damn seal, a huge cute sand piper an osprey and boatloads of great blue herons is the day we have the shitty little camera. But, you get the idea.
